[파이널 판타지14] - (가사/번역) Metal, 기공성 알렉산더: 기동편 4 OST

오늘의 OST 가사 영상은 Locus 다음으로 요청이 제법 많았던 기동 4층 OST인 Metal.

 

앞서 만들었던 Rise나 Locus와 마찬가지로 가사 내용을 보아하니 고블린들이 인간들을 향해 하는 말인듯하다.

한 줄로 요약하면 '고블린 짱짱맨' 정도려나.

 

가사는 파판14 팬덤 위키[링크]를 참고하여 번역했다.

 

중간의 'Wake the metal!~'하는 부분은 꽤 템포가 빨라 가사 넘어가는 속도가 빠르므로 여차하면 가사를 놓치기 쉬우니 주의해서 봐주길.

- 가사에 의성어/의태어가 굉장히 많이 나오는데 아는 단어를 최대한 쥐어짜내서 번역했다. 어휘의 한계에 봉착...

 

- 템포가 빨라지는 부분에 계속 등장하는 단어인 'Metal'은 금속(..)인 알렉산더, 즉, '기공성'을 뜻하는 것으로 생각된다.

직역해서 '~금속! ~금속! ~금속!'라고 해버리면 이상해서 영어 그대로 '메탈'로 번역했는데 '기공성'으로 번역해도 괜찮을듯.

Rise도 그렇고 Locus도 그렇고 이번 Metal도 마찬가지, 기계 냄새(?)가 강하게 나는 곡들을 작업하고 나면 정신이 혼미하단 말이지...@_@
